Two weeks ago, we stopped in Juneau on our cruise of Alaska’s Inside Passage. We traveled on the ms Noordam (Holland America Line, Cabin 5002), and made stops in Juneau, the Hubbard Glacier, Sitka, and Ketchikan.
Our afternoon in Juneau was particularly memorable as we stumbled upon two gems in Alaska’s capital: the Amalga Distillery and Kindred Post. We also spotted some well-designed teeshirts in Treetop Tees windows (Juneau what I’m saying?) as we ran back to the Noordam. The capital itself is dotted with Art Deco architectural treasures, and side streets are worth exploring.
